Annie is currently a master’s student at the London School of Economics. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science, economics, and women’s studies from The Ohio State University in May 2015. Annie spent 2013-14 on a year abroad at Leiden University in the Netherlands studying law and social sciences. She has previously interned with the Canadian Parliament, the Criminal Justice Research Center (CJRC), and various academic research projects. She also worked for several years at the Ohio State Department of Plant Pathology. In her free time, Annie enjoys swing dancing, running, travelling, and writing.
Bradley is currently an undergraduate student studying English Literature and Language at King’s College London. Bradley focuses on Lord Roberts’ campaign on domestic immigration reform. Prior to working for Lord Roberts, Bradley has interned at the United Nations, Civil Service and his local MP’s office. In summer 2015 he also interned at the Institute for Public Policy Research, working on the JP Morgan funded project – ‘New Skills at Work in Europe’. In his free time Bradley enjoys travelling and organising events with the King’s Think Tank as the Energy and Enviornment Liaison.
Mark Lavender was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 11 years old. He has lived with it for 29 years. After using different injection devices over the years, he was lucky enough to be offered an insulin pump in January 2015, which has made a huge difference to his life. After being a part time carer for some years, he is now focusing on helping people with diabetes. He is hoping to make people aware of diabetes, starting with school children. He will also be working with local diabetic groups. In his spare time he enjoys extreme sports, although he no longer does as much as in his younger days. He also spends time watching the British Super Bikes, and enjoys travelling.
